Girls+ Rock Ottawa

The first inter-agency Battle of the Bands is taking place Thursday November 22, with a special performance by Salmon Ella, alumni band of the Ottawa Rock Camp for Girls+.

On Sunday November 4, twenty Rock Camp for Girls+ musicians took to the NAC’s Fourth Stage.

Girls+ Rock Ottawa provides music programming to foster empowerment, inclusivity and community. This powerful initiative was the GenNext Award recipient at the 2018 Community Builder of the Year Awards Gala.

Local, volunteer-run organization Girls+ Rock Ottawa has organized a Gig Planning 101 workshop in partnership with local women-powered show production organization Debaser. The workshop will take place May 27.

The second annual Music Maker Fair and Trade Show aims to help create more awareness of organizations to the community that support the music business in Ottawa, and to encourage networking and collaborations among the music business entrepreneurs of today and tomorrow.
