After what felt like a long stretch of gloomy days, this weekend looks like clear skies and sunshine – and there is a ton going on to celebrate this fine weekend weather.

Orleans Craft Beer Festival is this weekend! The annual event in the east continues the tradition of unofficially launching the season with local brews and local bands this weekend, with sessions Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and evening.

Quickly becoming the unofficial kickoff to summer in the east end, the Orleans Craft Beer Festival is back this weekend for its fourth instalment. Voted Ottawa’s favourite Craft Beer Festival in Faces Magazines’s awards, organizers have raised the bar (so to speak) with the number of local breweries and distillers at this year’s edition.

While this weekend’s weather looks questionable, that shouldn’t stop you from enjoying one (or many!) of this weekend’s events.
