Weekend Roundup: Quoi faire?

Happy May long weekend! With the city full of colourful blooms, it certainly feels like we’ve finally made it into real spring, and we get to enjoy a three-day weekend as a reward!

Weekend Roundup: Quoi faire?

Well, it has only been one week since the Spring Ice Storm of 2023, but we are already catching up to our seasonal expected temperatures, and getting ready to spot the first blooms of the year. The wildly warm days we’ve been having can also only mean one thing—patio season! Get yourselves outside this weekend, soaking up some sunshine and culture around our fine city.

Weekend Roundup: Quoi faire?

Don’t miss Portraits of The Ottawa Mission at the OAG until October 16

From Sept. 30 to Oct. 16, The Ottawa Mission joins renowned artist Karen Bailey and Ottawa Art Gallery (OAG) to present “Portraits of The Ottawa Mission,” an exhibition that highlights the stories of the clients, employees, volunteers, service partners and donors of Ottawa’s oldest and largest homeless shelter in a new exhibition in the Sky Lounge of the OAG.

Weekend Roundup: Quoi faire?

With daylight savings bringing an extra hour of sunshine to our wakeful time and the promise of light at the end of our workday, we hope this puts a little spring in your step ahead of the official change in seasons next weekend. There is plenty to do with that bit of extra pep this weekend, so without further ado, we give you: the Weekend Roundup.
