We’ve another fine fall weekend in store for us and more exciting activities than one can cram into a single weekend. We’ll get you started by listing the highlights. Then you’ll have to decide what sounds like the most fun and schedule your time accordingly.
As we get into the swing of October, whether you’re a foodie, adventurer, clotheshorse, or all of the above, there is lots to do this long weekend!

November’s second summer is coming to an end and this weekend we will have returned to more seasonal temperatures. While we may have to put on our jackets and scarves before heading outside, there is plenty to enjoy if we do (as well as plenty to do if we don’t)!
With necessary safety precautions in place like social distancing on stage, matching black face masks, and extra plexiglass shields for the brass and woodwind players, the NACO delivered a phenomenal concert with content incredibly relevant to the times in the first of this series.
The National Arts Centre Orchestra is back! Granted, it’s via a new avenue—the NACO is set to perform their first livestream of the season this Saturday, October 31, at 8pm. This is a free livestream with a rich, wonderful program for the evening, featuring guest musicians Jonelle Sills and Christ Habib, who appear on CBC’s “Top 30 Classical Musicians Under 30” list this year.
