Mark Fewer, Yolanda Bruno, Julian Schwarz, and Joel Quarrington. Four of the most popular classical musicians in North America came together at Chamberfest.
Pianist Janina Fialkowska celebrated 70 with a triumphant return to Chamberfest, playing pieces by Carl Maria von Weber, Franz Schubert, and Frédéric Chopin. A welcome encore not on the program was Claude Debussy’s popular ‘Clair de Lune’—an acoustic balm for the difficult waters the world currently finds itself in and a gentle send off into the early spring night.

The clocks move forward next weekend, so embrace this last weekend of “winter” and take back the little parts of our city that bring you joy.
With six concerts already annoounced, Ottawa Chamberfest has added a few more events to their spring 2021-22 concert series.
Winter Jazz Fest will cover two weekends instead of one.
Chamberfest will take place online—and maybe in person—from July 22 to August 4, 2021 with a star-studded lineup ranging from inventive chamber music to tango to folk-punk.
Since the lockdown, the staff has added impressive technology that allows groups to live stream or record events, in lieu of in-person performances.
