Today, Apartment613 is celebrating 16 years of telling Ottawa’s stories — stories mostly written by our incredible volunteer contributors, for and about the community we love. The truth is: we need your support to keep going. Today, on our 16th birthday, we’re inviting you to be part of our next chapter.
Sixteen years ago, nine friends sat at a pub and conceived an idea for a local arts and culture blog — the very same one you’re reading this on. Today, on 613 Day (June 13), we celebrate the past sixteen years of Apt613, and the community we have created and uplifted along the way.
This year, Apartment613 is celebrating 16 years, and on June 13th we throw a big party for the blog, our contributors, our friends, and our community to recognize the importance of what we do. We call it 613Day!
