For the first time in festival history, Latin Sparks will take place on an island. The party is a night-long celebration of Latin culture, cuisine, and music on the city’s largest outdoor dancefloor. Organizers of the country’s largest dance party are expecting about 4,000 partygoers on Saturday June 10.
Festival programming includes dance workshops, multiple dancefloors, street food, bars, and live visual art. By the waterfront, DJ Rahim will spin salsa, merengue, kizomba, bachata and zouk music on the partners dancefloor, while DJ Mendez will hold down the main dancefloor with dancehall, soca, and a mix of Top 40 music.
