Baseball fans, rejoice. Our Ottawa Titans are in town and playing a game every day this weekend! They play in the evening on Thursday through Saturday and play again on Sunday afternoon. If you can’t make the fireworks show on Saturday night but can make Friday night baseball, you are in for a treat – they will be having their own fireworks show after the game!
Thursday
Beats and Boards returns to Art House Cafe this Thursday. Bring your favourite board game or enjoy learning a new one with the help of game master Rob. DJ Hobo and DJ JRed will be on the decks bringing you some great game time beats. Please note that this is a popular event and space is limited, so arrive early to secure yourself a table.
Yet another installment of the Hintonburg Night Market takes place Thursday eve at Urban Art Collective on Somerset. The list of vendors – including food and drink offerings – change each week, so if you have already been, it is worth checking out again as you’re sure to find something new.

If you are looking for that perfect new piece of art for your space, check out Art in Strathcona Park this Saturday. There will also be a silent auction and a barbecue, so come hungry.
Have a clock that doesn’t tick? A knife that doesn’t cut? A lamp that no longer lights up the room? Instead of throwing it out, bring it to Saturday’s Repair Cafe at Zibi, located at 28 Booth Street, from 10am to 2pm. Not only will you receive help to repair your item, but you will learn a new skill in the process – and keep usable items out of our landfills! Everybody wins!

Throw on a Hawaiian shirt and head on down to a Tropic Isle Luau at Art House Cafe this Sunday. Enjoy the live ukulele and great island tunes, while you sip on Mai Tais and munch on homemade poke, musubi, and seaweed salad. Tickets are $15 and include the cost of your meal.
