The 2025 Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival has a new home and even more to look forward to this year.

The countdown is on as we arrive upon the final weekend before the holidays. If you’ve managed to get your shopping done already (or even if you haven’t), there are lots of festive things to do about town that are plenty more fun than braving a mall in late December.

The leaves are changing colour, the air is crisp, and the nights are dark… Spooky Season is upon us! Pumpkins After Dark, the one-of-a-kind walk-through Halloween experience, is back at Wesley Clovers Park.

The call for artists for the 2024 Sweetly Affordable Art Fair is now open. The fair takes place June 22 and 23 at Wesley Clover Parks. Applications are open until March 30, 2024.

Welcome to the first weekend of 2024, folks! If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to get out and enjoy our city to its fullest, we’re here to help! We’ve compiled a list of this weekend’s best; check out all the great goings-on to follow.

The Sweetly Affordable Art Fair (SAAF) is an outdoor art show at Wesley Clover Parks (401 Corkstown Road) on May 20 and 21. This year’s SAAF is co-occurring in collaboration with the Ottawa Dressage Festival, which will have thousands of visitors. This means SAAF exhibitors can expect many visitors on-site each day of the event!

This weekend marks the end of November and, with December quickly approaching, the holiday season has begun. While you could keep yourself as busy as Santa on Christmas Eve with all the craft fairs and holiday markets this weekend, there are a few other great things happening here in Ottawa that you won’t want to miss out on either.

We’ve somehow managed to make it through to the final month of 2020 and, for that, I think we all deserve a bit of celebration. As this weekend approaches, we’ve got a bunch of great ideas for you all as to how to properly go about it during this festive season.
