Whether your long weekend was an end-of-summer blur, or a relaxing last hurrah at the cottage, the shortened work week means that another weekend is already upon us. This is a great chance to try something new, or spend the weekend outdoors patio sitting and taking in some fun local outdoor live events.
GCTC reveals six plays for the 2018–19 theatre season
Six politically- and socially-charged plays are being presented on the GCTC’s main stage in the Irving Greenberg Theatre Centre.
Remixed Festival has a new name but same reasons for celebrating Chinatown and Somerset West
Remixed is a festival celebrating local culture in the Somerset West area. On September 16 they’ll be closing Somerset between Bay and Percy to provide a day’s worth of free activities.

It may be one of the rainiest summers we’ve had in a while, but don’t let that stop you from getting out and enjoying all the activities this weekend! Summer favourites like the light show at Parliament Hill are back, it’s the final weekend of Bluesfest, and Canada Scene has shows aplenty! Enjoy!
