Spring is officially here! If you’ve been hibernating, now’s a great time to get out and enjoy the city’s many offerings. Below are a few ideas.

All Weekend

Head to Greely for the Greely Players’ production of Grease – guaranteed to be a rockin’ good time.

Get a new spring wardrobe or a head start on your Halloween costume with 1D Studio’s Movie Wardrobe and Prop Sale.

Head to the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum for Tales from the Village with actors from Vintage Stock Theatre bringing history from the 1920s and 1930s to life.

OSTARA – Ottawa’s Mystic Market takes place Saturday and Sunday at Next Door Market.

Check out the local independent movie theatres for some great lineups.

Running until March 29 is Three Sisters Theatre Company’s presentation of famed playwright Lauren Gunderson’s Silent Sky at The Gladstone. It tells the ‘almost true story of the women who changed our view of the cosmos.’

Also running until March 29 at the NAC is The Secret to Good Tea, presented by the NAC Indigenous Theatre.
