Sunday

Ottawa’s A Company of Fools is doing some fall cleaning and holding a rummage sale. Check out their selection of past theatrical production costumes. Whether you’re looking for a zany Halloween costume, a special Foolish trinket, or a blast from Torchlight’s past, they’ve got you covered. There will be music, dozens of Foolish costumes/items, and a complimentary pancake breakfast to keep you satiated as you rifle through the racks and partake in the silent auction, where they’ll be parting with some of their most high-end and illustrious treasures. Come with an empty belly and leave with arms full of Fools swag.

Listen, take this for what it’s worth as I’m no parent, but Monkey Rock Music has a kid’s music show at Red Bird with John and Kieran where the adults can enjoy a cappuccino or beer while your kids rock out and spend some energy—that sounds like a sweet deal for both adults and kids!

Regular season winners Atlético Ottawa have made their first playoffs (and came in last place last season!) and already won their first away game in a two-leg match. It’s a great opportunity to jump on the bandwagon if you haven’t already. If they win this round, the final playoff takes place next Sunday, October 30 at home and it will surely be massive!
