Side by Side Weekend is back for a fourth year and will take place in Club SAW’s courtyard and indoor venues from July 26 to 28. The lineup is filled with exciting local talent as well as an eclectic array of artists from all over the place, including Pony Girl, Hot Garbage, Sun Junkies, Sasha Cay, Sorry Snowman, and so many more!

On Tuesday, February 14 (AKA: Valentine’s Day), Avant-Garde Bar (135 Besserer St.) will be the hotspot for an Anti-Valentine’s Day show and get-together featuring music from Wychwood and Libby & Cal. Welcome to another winter weekend in the 613! The temperatures are finally dropping to levels that we’re used to this time of year, and hopefully, that doesn’t keep you from getting out there for some fun. Not only is this weekend the beginning of Winterlude, but it is also the first weekend of Black History month, which means there are so many creative and thought-provoking events around town to enjoy.
After what was bound to be a difficult week, working from home in this heat, this weekend calls for more of the same. It’s another hot one here in the city and we’ve lots of great ways to keep cool in this week’s edition of the Weekend Roundup!
