Whether you’re enjoying some time off or still working, hopefully, you can end the year with fantastic events and activities across the city.
There’s so much on the go this weekend so let’s dive right in!
As we head into peak spooky season, there are plenty of Halloween-themed things happening. But, if that’s not your jam, don’t worry—there’s lots to do without needing a costume.
Pure Yoga Centretown is hosting a unique yoga fundraiser on August 27. Led by assistant manager Liane Wilson, participants can practice with young puppies from Marshall’s Dog Rescue, a not-for-profit that finds homes for abandoned dogs, and hopefully, leave with a new companion.

You may have noticed some shifts in the 613 yoga landscape over the last year. Rama Lotus closed. Soul Speak opened. Rideau Sports Centre built a hot yoga studio. Yogatown opened a third studio in Barrhaven. The Gatineau Yoga Coop opened its doors too.
Paint the town [insert colour(s) of choice]! Abounding in colour, sound and taste, this Ottawa weekend is one for the senses.
