Festival season is well and truly upon us friends! Ottawa is coming alive, now that summer is really getting going, and the city is going to be full of music, theatre, dancing, eating and playing all weekend. Whether you are celebrating the solstice, getting into a dragon boat, taking in a Fringe show (or three) or getting out that lawn chair for some live outdoor music, we’ve got your big weekend plans here. Stay safe, stay hydrated, and stay kind to one another!
Fun is the word that comes to mind when thinking back to this performance. Gregory is the Wickie, a lighthouse keeper who gets upset with the ocean because it stole his left shoe. This leads him through a series of adventures and mishaps around the lighthouse island, with the hopes that he can find his answers and help regarding his shoe predicament.

The 2025 Fringe Festival marks 28 years since it began in Ottawa, and remains the biggest theatre festival in the city. From June 12-22, there will be 58 shows this year that will run across nine different venues in downtown Ottawa, which will culminate into around over 350 unique single performances throughout the festival’s duration.
