Apt613 contributor Barb Popel has attended every OIAF since 1976.

Since 1976, Ottawa has hosted the OIAF, one of the largest and most prestigious animation festivals in the world.

These kids will hem and haw over the short films and TV episodes before they present awards to the winning filmmakers later that evening at OIAF Awards Ceremony the National Arts Centre.

After the destruction and darkness last weekend, it’s time to celebrate this wonderful city we live in. There is plenty to see and do on this fine fall weekend and we’re happy to share the details with you.
