One of the best kept secrets in Ottawa festivals is the annual Hopped and Confused hosted by Mill Street Brewpub each August. The cozy location boasts some amazing elements that most of the big festivals can only wish for: an intimate setting where you can get up close to the stage, a full service restaurant in addition to the outdoor booths (which includes a taqueria this year!), a massive selection of craft beer, as well as a selection of Brickworks Ciderhouse, and maybe most importantly: indoor washrooms!
This weekend is promising a mixed bag of weather, but it also holds a wide variety of activities in and around the city. Movies and music and beer are readily available this weekend, but you don’t have to look very hard for other cool things to tickle your fancy as we all try to jam as much awesomeness as we can into our remaining summer days (and nights).
The solstice is upon us! Summer has officially arrived in this beautiful city and festival season is just in time to celebrate the change of seasons.
New Swears, Dilly Dally, Hollerado and Tokyo Police Club lit up Hopped & Confused Festival, despite the concert venue losing electricity for about an hour during their sets.
The Trews headlined opening night of the Hopped & Confused Festival at Mill Street Brew Pub. Apt613 will be back on Saturday night when Tokyo Police Club, Hollerado, Dilly Dally and New Swears take to the stage.
The Trews headline Hopped & Confused Festival at the Mill Street Brew Pub (555 Wellington St) on Friday August 25.
