‘Tis the season for boughs of holly… and markets! It may only be November, but there are already plenty of holiday markets and craft fairs bringing in some joy around the city. Continuing our tradition from last year, we’ve put together a top-stop list for all your merry needs this holiday season.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year… holiday craft show season! That’s right—it begins in early November, we presume to give folks plenty of time to shop before the holidays are truly upon us.
This weekend marks the end of November and, with December quickly approaching, the holiday season has begun. While you could keep yourself as busy as Santa on Christmas Eve with all the craft fairs and holiday markets this weekend, there are a few other great things happening here in Ottawa that you won’t want to miss out on either.
November’s second summer is coming to an end and this weekend we will have returned to more seasonal temperatures. While we may have to put on our jackets and scarves before heading outside, there is plenty to enjoy if we do (as well as plenty to do if we don’t)!
Welcome to the first snow covered weekend in the city. If the cold temperatures and slippery sidewalks aren’t enough to make you think like a bear and hibernate this weekend, there is plenty to do out and about in Ottawa. So get bundled up and get out there. We promise you it’ll be worth it!
