Ottawa is coming alive, now that summer is really getting going, and the city is going to be full of music, theatre, dancing, eating and playing all weekend. Whether you are celebrating the solstice, getting into a dragon boat, taking in a Fringe show (or three) or getting out that lawn chair for some live outdoor music, we’ve got your big weekend plans here. Fringe 2025 Review: Chez Suzette Boulette

Cette pièce de théâtre suit l’histoire d’un restaurant et des (mé)aventures de ses employés, cinq jeunes dans leurs vingtaines. L’histoire se révèle entre chaque commande de poutine et de boulettes. / This play follows the story of a restaurant and the (mis)adventures of its employees, five young people in their twenties. The story unfolds between each order of poutine and meatballs.

Fringe 2025: Whisky Flicks Live!

Michael Neiderman and Dan McCoy bring an unfiltered, unscripted, Whiskey-filled dive into film with a new theme and clips for each show. Yesterday’s show was themed “A life in a theatre,” where the audience, Neiderman, and McCoy dove into what makes and defines a diva.
