With the return of some classic Ottawa events (hello Ribfest!), it feels like we’ve finally made it to summer in the city.

Unbelievably, this weekend marks the arrival of June! With it comes blue skies, sunshine, and a whole lot to get out and do around town! The weekend is chock-full of fun, so without further ado, we give you the Weekend Roundup!

Break out the stretchy pants and walking shoes Ottawa! The summer is in full swing with food festivals, yoga festivals, film festivals, and shopping festivals (okay, that last one is a bit of a stretch…). 

Happy June, everyone! The city continues to come alive as the sun gets hotter and the days get longer. This weekend you can enjoy free entry to dozens of Ottawa’s most interesting and beautiful buildings during Doors Open, or choose to stay in and enjoy a variety of live music all over town. Election Day is Thursday in Ontario, so before you get too deep into your weekend plans, make your way to the polls and vote for a province you want to live in!
