From July 20 to August 3, Ottawa Chamberfest returns to bring a diverse and exciting lineup of chamber music to Ottawa, organized into six streams: Signature Series, Marina Kun Series, Chamberfringe Series, Midday Matinées, Beechwood Series, and New Music Now.

Headlining the evening at Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre was the world-renowned Danish String Quartet, who also hosted an afterparty at Club SAW.
Wednesday was the second-last day of Chamberfest 2022, but the festival wasn’t winding down slowly. Day 14 had big acts in Cheng² Duo, Hinrich Alpers’ second Beethoven set, Kaitlyn Raitz’s Cello Party, and some of the region’s best emerging talent performing the Rising Stars slot. To celebrate the August holiday, Chamberfest packed Monday with an astounding array of concerts, celebrating both the old and the brand-new. Day 9 of Chamberfest was one of the strongest days yet. Gryphon Trio, Nordic Voices, Raphael Weinroth-Browne, and the Cris Derksen Quartet headlined.
On Thursday at Chamberfest, we saw Montreal’s Quatuor Andara at the Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre, pianist Meagan Milatz at the Steinway Piano Galleries, and Toronto’s world-renowned Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra.
Day 7 of Chamberfest saw a chamber masterclass with Quatour Danel and Quatour Andara, and then a double-bill of Simon Trpĉeski & Friends.
