Sunday at Chamberfest kept the great music rolling. The morning opened with JUNO-winner Angela Schwarzkopf performing pieces from her award-winning album Detach alongside percussionist Étienne Levesque. The Midday Matinée was full Baroque, with the duo of violinist Chloe Kim and harpsichordist Hank Knox tackling Bach and Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber.

The evening saw a standout performance of Sounding Thunder: The Song of Francis Pegahmagabow. The chamber opera tells the story of Francis Pegahmagabow, a noted First World War veteran and Chief of the Wasausking Ojibwe. The story is told through acting, singing, hoop dancing, and a chamber ensemble.

The Chamberfringe show was the husband-and-wife duo of Drew Jurecka and Rebekah Wolkstein, who played violin, mandolin, accordion, and sang.
