Canadian Tulip Festival

It is time to rejoice, we’ve a long weekend ahead! A whole extra day to get out and enjoy what this fine city has to offer! This weekend there is a ton of stuff going on, so we might as well get to it.

Wandering around Ottawa and Gatineau, you may have already spotted one of the surest signs of spring in the region. Close to one million tulips have been planted for the 66th Canadian Tulip Festival, kicking off Friday May 11 and continuing until Monday May 21.

Believe it or not, we’ve made it. Spring has sprung in Ottawa, and one thing is certain: there will be tulips.
