Just like that, 2017, Ottawa’s big year, is over. With so much going on over the last year, it seems fitting that we celebrate the end of 2017 and welcome 2018 with a bang.

While this October’s Friday the 13th will no doubt be a time for early Halloween parties, dancing ghoulishly, and watching movies about men with chainsaws and too much free time, it will also be a great weekend to enjoy fall weather as Ottawa gears down from its perennially overwhelming festival season.

With sun in the forecast, this weekend looks to be a great one to spend outside. Whether you’re enjoying CityFolk or running the Army Run, now is the time to (finally!) enjoy some summer weather!
