Are you pink carpet ready? Ottawa Art Gallery (OAG) will be painting the town pink at its annual art auction on May 16, 2024!
A celebration of art and community, the Give to Get Art auction is many things. It’s an art party, a showcase of amazing local talent, a fundraiser for your municipal gallery, a way to support Ottawa-Gatineau artists, and an online art auction where you can start your very own art collection. It’s also a unique opportunity to flaunt your finest pink accessories and indulge in artisan food and drinks!

New at this year’s annual Spring celebration, alongside the works in the room, art lovers will have the opportunity to bid on commissions from celebrated local artists. These offers include a custom illustration, portrait, tattoo, or painting, as well as photography sessions and wearable art.
The auction exhibition showcases nearly 100 works generously donated by artists this year, ranging from paintings and photography to sculptures and multimedia pieces. The Mystery Box raffle includes a wide range of prizes from local artisans, as well as a grand prize from Magpie Jewellery. Ticket holders will also be treated to live music, live painting, an artful henna station, a 360 photo booth, and a variety of elevated food and drink options!
For over two decades, the Ottawa Art Gallery (OAG) has been hosting the Give to Get Art Auction, an annual event dedicated to supporting OAG’s exhibitions, collections, community, mental health and green initiatives, and local artists. Proceeds from ticket sales, raffles, and auction purchases contribute to keeping the OAG free and accessible.
Come support your Gallery and mark your calendars (in pink!) for Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm and join the festivities in the ultramodern Alma Duncan Salon on the 3rd floor of OAG (10 Daly Ave.)!
