Known for her emotive songwriting and haunting vocals, Julie Doiron has captivated audiences for decades with her introspective folk-rock sound. From her early days with Eric’s Trip to her acclaimed solo work, she has carved out a unique place in the Canadian music landscape.
Joining her on tour is a lineup of exceptional Canadian musicians, including Dany Placard and Daniel & Ian Romano, who will add their distinctive flair to the set. Together, they will treat audiences to a selection of songs from Doiron’s extensive catalogue, including tracks from her latest album, I Thought of You.
Opening the show is special guest Carson McHone, the Texas-born, Canadian-based country singer-songwriter. Her last album, Still Life, was produced by Daniel Romano, so it is no surprise if Romano also joins McHone onstage for an unforgettable evening.
Julie Doiron and special guests perform at The 27 Club (27 York St.) on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Doors open at 8pm, with the show beginning at 8:30pm. Tickets are available for $22.50 plus fees.
