Apt613 has come up with a list of exciting shows to keep you busy this fall.
Zola Jesus played the 27 club on Tuesday evening, treating the crowd to some dark synth-pop.
A new series of events will be taking place in Ottawa called Spill the Tea. These events combine drag artists with health information to help educate, end stigma, and reduce harm for the members of the PnP community. The first event will take place on August 23 at The 27 Club.
In town for the second time since last fall, The Beaches have created a true fan base in Ottawa. This will definitely not be the last sold out show they perform here.
The only thing spookier than Friday the 13th is snow in the forecast for mid-April, both of which are things we have to look forward to this weekend. Have no fear, though, because your guide to the weekend is full of hot coffee, cold beer and cool shows.
It might not be a long weekend, but there are more than enough events to fill your weekend.

The energy levels were high at The 27 Club on Saturday night. Ottawa’s own We Were Sharks got the crowd dancing and singing along. Supporting We Were Sharks was Elementals, Kennedy, and PINE.
