Night eight of Bluesfest featured Tyler Childers, the Kentucky-born country star who brought his home with him along with a massive backup band. Headlining the river stage led by Afie Jurvanen was Bahamas, complete with beautiful harmonies and dueling guitars.
Ottawa sensation TALK played a set to a large early crowd, even being joined by Spartacat and his trusty t-shirt cannon. On the tent stage, Bombino mesmerized with his intricate guitar work with the help of the backing galloping bass lines. Oddeline performed an intimate set full of tight musicianship and ethereal vocals.
With only two nights left, be sure to check out the early acts of the weekend as it promises to be a great end to 10 days of live music.
