Fun is the word that comes to mind when thinking back to this performance. Gregory is the Wickie, a lighthouse keeper who gets upset with the ocean because it stole his left shoe. This leads him through a series of adventures and mishaps around the lighthouse island, with the hopes that he can find his answers and help regarding his shoe predicament.

The physicality of this show is amazing. The actor uses his body and different props throughout the play as the punchlines of jokes, and boy, is it funny. He engages the crowd with ease and confidence, without making members of the audience feel too on the spot. This play strikes the right balance between storytelling, and physical clown-inspired humour. Lights are used throughout the whole show, emphasizing his wonderful ability to harness humour in movement.
This show would be a great one for the whole family, particularly for those with older children/teens. Go have a great deal of fun and see Gregory on his journey full of stairs, morse code, and bottles in the ocean.
The Wickie is playing at ODD Box from June 13–20.
