DNA tells the story of a group of school friends caught up in a mystery that will leave you breathless and curious to know more.
After Adam is presumed dead by his peers, these kids must figure out a way to distance themselves from the mess left in the aftermath by any means necessary. One lie multiplies into many that leave this group in more of a precarious position than originally hoped for.

In this dark but humorous dramedy, the story’s pacing never feels off—the story keeps moving in a way that keeps audiences on their toes, spinning faster and faster towards an uneasy and somewhat unexpected ending. The cast is probably the best part about this performance. For such a young group of artists, their talent is unreal, and the dialogue feels very much in the style of Wes Anderson, which added to the anxious humour throughout.
On top of this, DNA is supporting Kids Help Phone this Fringe and provides information on how to access and support this resource for audiences upon entering the theatre. With only a few performances left at this year’s Fringe Festival, do not miss your chance to see this stellar cast and intriguing tale.
DNA is playing at LabO from June 13–22. Tickets are $14 plus service fees at the Fringe box office (3rd floor, Arts Court, 2 Daly Avenue), and at the three satellite box offices (LabO in the Ottawa Art Gallery, Fringe Courtyard, 67 Nicholas St and La Nouvelle Scène). Five and ten Show Passes are also available. Visit the Ottawa Fringe Festival’s website for the show’s schedule and check out their online schedule here.
