The Red Rails are a relatively new rock trio based in Ottawa. A love of minimalist rock and roll brought friends Kim Vincent (Vocals, Guitar), Chris Slaney (Bass, Vocals) and Steve Brogno (drums) together just over two years ago. “On the Line” is the first single from their forthcoming album A Living Fiction set to be released on Tuesday, July 15.
For me, the song has a bit of a late 70s rock vibe to it: a heavy guitar combined with a sweet melody making it easy to groove along to. Check it out:

The Red Rails will be kicking off their summer tour with a Bluesfest performance on Sunday July 13. If you’d like to help them get to where they need to go after that, check out their Pledge Music campaign. It seems their tour van was stolen a while back and the band is currently looking to the community for support in helping them get back on the road.
