This year’s Jane’s Walk Ottawa-Gatineau invites you to explore the power of third places — the parks, libraries, cafés, and community spaces that foster a sense of belonging and encourage spontaneous interactions.
It has been a rollercoaster of a week here in the 613, and between the crazy weather, the flooding and the start of a new month we all deserve a weekend to recharge and reconnect with good people and places!

Jane’s Mob, the festival launching Jane’s Walk, is happening on Thursday, May 3rd at Parkdale Market Park, bringing people together to celebrate their space. There’ll be storytelling about Hintonburg, live music, speakers, a scavenger hunt, art installations, lawn games – and more!
Amber Westfall is an herbalist, forager, and teacher. She offers plant walks and workshops for everyone, and has a young herbalist apprenticeship program for children.
