There’s no denying it; summer is gone. Watching Sound of Lions’ video for their new single, Storm Chasers, is a great way to mourn. The video, produced by local multimedia company Studio Tree, combines a soulful and somewhat melancholy track with bright images of summer fun: green fields, fires by the beach and yellow sundresses. It set the mood perfectly to sit in the park and wait for the leaves to turn.
Sounds of Lions has had a great year, playing at Bluesfest, Junofest and winning the Xpress’ reader’s poll for best band. Storm Chasers is the first of the band’s new material to be released after their first album 11:44, and showcases the band’s new direction in songwriting.
