We have arrived at the first weekend of Winterlude here in the nation’s capital! While it doesn’t look as though the canal will be open for skating at any point, there are still plenty of fun outdoor winter activities to enjoy in this mild winter weather, as well as several indoor activities, if that is more your style.
We are under stay-at-home orders for yet another weekend here in Ottawa and, while we are not able to go out on the town like we once were, there are still ways to make the most of the weekend while staying safely indoors or adventuring in the outdoors while remaining close to home.
Thanks to a big volunteer effort, many of Ottawa’s outdoor rinks are opening this month. Check out the available rinks and current safety regulations.
