There’s a lot of good food in Ottawa.

Launching Friday is their Maple Amber Ale with roasted coffee beans, maple syrup and doughnuts — Drinkin’ Donut Ale. This fun group effort is a collaboration between Calabogie Brewing, Ridge Rock Brewing and Suzy Q Doughnuts.

Wheelers Maple is an amazingly diverse place for a sugarbush. They have two museums in rustic log buildings, a playground, a zipline, a blacksmith, hiking trails and more.

National Doughnut day happens on the first Friday of June, so if you missed it this year, have no fear! Luckily for us in Ottawa, every day can be doughnut day as more and more bakeries and boutique shops are offering a staggering variety of our favourite fried treat.
