Chef Ric’s moved into the old Rideau Bakery and has expanded the Ottawa Mission’s Food Services Training Program to offer tasty meals from a storefront location.
A special televised show will feature performances by the Downchild Blues Band (with special guests Dan Aykroyd, Paul Shaffer, David Wilcox, Kenny Neal, Gene Taylor, and Erja Lyytinen), Colin James, Big Sugar, Sass Jordan, Matt Andersen, MonkeyJunk, and Dawn Tyler Watson.
The Ottawa Art Gallery’s first XO Ball takes place on Saturday, November 9. The ball is a fundraiser that aims to keep the OAG free and accessible to all.
On Thursday May 24, the Young Professionals Network of the Ottawa Mission Foundation will be inaugurating its first official event at Craft Beer Market. For $15, you get a drink, food, really cool door prizes and an opportunity to mix and mingle with other young professionals who have their community at heart.

The Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser helps raise awareness and funds for local charities serving hungry, homeless and hurting families and youth. The Ottawa Mission relies on the fundraiser to help support its annual programming to provide food, shelter, guidance, and counselling to its patrons each and every day.
