Ottawa Independent Writers

The OIW supports local writers at every stage of their writing journey. Connections, its 2023 annual anthology, is a collection of short stories and poetry that bind us to each other through community, family, love, and the earth we call home.

Presented annually by the Ottawa Independent Writers, the Frank Hegyi Award alternates between fiction and non-fiction works each year.
