The first weekend of fall is shaping up nicely in the 613. The leaves are turning, the apples are ripe, and things are starting to get spooky! Take in some cool walking tours, a cozy movie, some great shopping, or a soccer game and see where the city takes you.
Well, it happened. August sure did slip away into a moment in time, and September is already two weeks old and I’m still trying to get to the beach one more time. It’s one of the best months for events around town, with the weather finally cooperating, and a returned feeling of routine, and needing to make the most of the weekends. With the news this week that the Rideau Canal Skateway has closed for the season and warmer temperatures in the forecast, it feels like we’re slowly but surely making our way towards spring. This weekend we’ve got an exciting mix of St. Patrick’s Day festivities and March break activities.
