This long October weekend is about fall, feasts, family, and friends. When you aren’t stuffing yourself with turkey and pumpkin pie, there are plenty of things to do – both seasonal and otherwise.
This Sunday marks the first day of fall, but this weather has us hanging onto those summer vibes. We’ve got a real mix of events this weekend, ranging from art and food festivals to road races to Oktoberfest celebrations!

Happy May long weekend! With the city full of colourful blooms, it certainly feels like we’ve finally made it into real spring, and we get to enjoy a three-day weekend as a reward!

Parkways for People is a coalition working to transform the national capital parkways, with an emphasis on more active use.
After a short week, we have arrived at what looks to be yet another nice weekend! Things are opening up a bit here in Ottawa and we can finally do things like see friends (outdoors, and at a distance), kick a ball around the soccer field, or play a few rounds of golf. After what seemed like neverending rain, cool weather, and grey skies, the sun is finally out and it looks like it will be sticking around and bringing warmer temperatures this weekend.
