Last Thursday, Studio Sixty Six opened its doors to guests for a Summer Soiree to celebrate reuniting in person and to shine a light on the group exhibition Figure Figure, on display until August 27th.

Natalie Bruvels’ MFA grad work is a melding of both her 10 year-old son Tomson’s schooling and her own—so much so that many professors have remarked how this is also Tomson’s MFA.

The show “Lovers’ Imbroglio,” opening this Thursday at Studio Sixty Six, will be the artists’ second to feature works painted over her ex-lover’s pieces.
