Ottawa’s 12th annual Fresh Meat Festival showcases a diverse group of local artists each year, allowing emerging talent to create and perform new, innovative, short works, which often blur lines between dance, poetry, burlesque, clown, pantomime, performance art, stand-up, sketch comedy, storytelling, and more.
Small Tortures (I Love You), by Ottawa-based theatremaker Ludmylla Reis, depicts a toxic and violent partnership that takes place behind closed doors. The show features expressive dance performances that tell the story through movement.

In association with GCTC, the Theatre Artists’ Co-operative: the Independent Collective Series (TACTICS) present two performances for an optimistic start to this new year in their 2022 Mainstage Series: Blissful State of Surrender and Heartlines.
