On Thursday, May 29, the Ottawa Art Gallery will host its signature Give to Get Art Auction at the Alma Duncan Salon on level three of the gallery.

It’s the auction of the year for Ottawa art collectors.

An American who has lived in South Africa since the early 1980s, Ballen’s work is the subject of the new exhibition There Is No Outside at the School of the Photographic Arts: Ottawa. Featuring nine photos and three videos, it marks the first time the award-winning Ballen has exhibited here.

The School of the Photographic Arts: Ottawa held a grand opening party for its new location in Little Italy on Friday, November 10. After 12 years in cramped conditions on Dalhousie in the Byward Market, the new custom-designed building opened its doors to the public with a gathering and musical performance by The Peptides.

This weekend, the School of Photographic Arts: Ottawa is celebrating the grand opening of a new location at 77 Pamilla Street, off Preston Street in Little Italy.
