Do it for the Grain (DIFTG) publishes a bimonthly print zine showcasing local photographers. They also present photo exhibitions and offer affordable workshops, services, and equipment to those in need. This spring they’re celebrating their fourth anniversary with an exhibition titled “Home/Chez Soi”, on display at Happy Goat Coffee Co.
It’s *technically* the second weekend of Winterlude, but after a rollercoaster week of weather, the Rideau Canal still hasn’t opened and ice carvings are starting to melt (despite the best efforts of NCC staff!). That said, there are still some great Winterlude-esque activities to enjoy this weekend, plus a number of other great Ottawa events.
Hopefully a lot of you have a long weekend to enjoy, whether you’re celebrating anything or not! There are plenty of great local events for you to enjoy, and some of them involve finding chocolate eggs.
