As usual, we’ll have you covered throughout the festival with daily previews to get you geared up for that day’s CityFolk lineup. Kicking off the five-day festival, Wednesday’s lineup may be small with only three artists, but makes up for it (and then some) with intensity.

Even though Montreal is the city of tickets, taxes, and traffic, its creatives consistently put the cold-dark majestic city on the artistic map. Magi (pronounced MADGE-eye) Merlin is no exception.

Busty and the Bass brought their high-energy funk fusion to the opening nights of Ottawa Jazzfest, running until July 3.

Jazzfest is finally back in full force, live and in-person! The festival will take place at Confederation Park, the National Arts Centre, and Marion Dewar Plaza in front of Ottawa City Hall.
