This is your chance to see these soundtracks brought to life on stage at Carleton Dominion Chalmers Centre as Ottawa Pops Orchestra brings you Symphonic Cinema: Epic Film Scores.
Visit an island of dinosaurs in Jurassic Park, see everything the light touches from The Lion King and chase that horizon with Pirates of the Caribbean’s Jack Sparrow. With Mathieu Roy’s artistic direction and program curation, and under the musical direction of the National Arts Centre Orchestra’s David Thies-Thompson, audiences will be transported to some of their most cherished cinematic worlds and want to sing along with Ottawa soprano Emili Losier.
Keeping to the organization’s mission of making the orchestral experience accessible to all audiences, cell phones are permitted during the performance, audience members are invited to “come as they are,” and under 30 and group prices are available.
