Summer is finally here, and with it comes a whole lot of heat and unpredictable weather. Today’s review is a little similar – sometimes hot, sometimes cold but always unforgettable.

Reaching Out by James McGowan Ensemble [Jazz]

This whimsical jazz composition is an electrifying feast for the senses with over 8 instruments represented. You can’t listen to this song in isolation, share in the full introspective journey by listening to the new album of the same name – you won’t regret it!

Moondog by Leif Vollebekk [Indie Folk]

A folk-country blend that puts you in your feels and by a crinkling fire, Moondog simmers at first but is worth the wait.

Midnight Rider by Sunday Riot Club [Rock]

This intense rock track reminds me of the song that plays at the beginning of your favourite 90s/00s teen flick. The guitar solos are the cherry on top of this exultant record.

Bittersweet by JENNA Nation
[R&B]

This classic R&B serenade is a letter to a lover, reminding them that she’s ready to work on their relationship together and take the good with the bad.
