Local filmmakers, take note! As part of its commitment to promote the growth of independent Canadian films, the Ottawa Canadian (OCan) Film Festival is now accepting submissions for its 2023 program, which will take place at the ByTowne Cinema in November 2023. They are looking for great stories in all genres, whether fiction or documentary, short or feature-length.
Information about the festival, past screenings and a link to the Call for Submissions can be found on the festival website. Exhibition and artist fees are paid for all jury-selected films, and there are discounts for early submissions. OCan Film Festival uses the filmfreeway platform for submissions, and there are early-bird discounts until February 28, 2023.
