The nomination process has now begun for the fifth annual Capital Music Awards (CMAs) presented by the Ottawa Music Industry Coalition (OMIC). Since 2020, the CMAs have recognized artists, creators, music workers, entrepreneurs, and industry members who contribute to Ottawa’s rich and diverse music sector.
With three new categories (Music Educator of the Year, Sound Engineer of the Year, and Live Music Curator of the Year) the 2024 CMAs will highlight outstanding artists and honour the hardworking folks working behind the scenes in #ottmusic.

All winners will be announced during the in-person awards ceremony on May 16, 2024, at the Bronson Centre Music Theatre.
Nominations are open until February 19, 2024.
