Let’s be honest here, nothing smells better than freshly baked cookies. No matter how old you are it’s so hard to resist warm gooey cookies, especially if they’re made by grandma.

But let me share with you, a little cookie secret…

What if I told you that don’t need to go over the river and through the woods to grandma’s house. Or that you don’t even need to follow the recipe on the back of a Nestle Toll House chocolate chip bag. Believe it or not, Ottawa now has a new place in town that can help satisfy Ottawa’s cookie monsters: Nestle Toll House Cafe.

Nestle Toll House Cafe is a cookie version of our everyday trusted local Starbucks. As soon as you walk in, you’re immediately overwhelmed with cookies: classic chocolate chip, M&M chocolate chip, chocolate chip with walnuts, chocolate chip with pecans, peanut butter, the list goes on. Not only are you overwhelmed with cookies, but premium Nestle ice cream, frozen yogurt, cookie cakes, brownies and even ice cream cookie sandwiches! Once you finally overcome the tough decision of what to order, you have a large sitting area to sit down and indulge in the original cookie brand that was a part of your childhood.

Nestle Toll House Cafe was first introduced to the city in Barrhaven and has now expanded and opened their newest cafe in Kanata, which is a dangerously close walk from my house. However don’t stress! In no time at all the downtown core will be getting their own Nestle Toll House Cafe.

But if you’re really stuck for cookies and (preferably) have a vehicle, why not order cookies online for pick up. Surprise your friends and family with freshly baked cookies. No one has to know that you didn’t bake them.
