We told you we’d be back. Returning this year, Apartment613 will celebrate our official birthday on 613 Day (June 13) with a free party for our community!
We’re turning 14 this year and joining forces with one of our favourite places in Ottawa, Art House Café, to host this FREE (ticketed) event.
Think happy hour meets outdoor dance party with a community-building, all-are-welcome, make-new-friends-and-keep-the-old vibe. Feel free to dress in whatever makes you feel best, whether it’s your coolest thrift-store find or the sparkliest thing in your closet.
If you’re reading this, you’re welcome to come out and join us! It’s a chance to meet other Apt613 contributors and readers, chat with other folks who love this city as much as we do, and enjoy a fun summer night out—rain or shine. We ask that you reserve a free ticket so we know how many of your fabulous faces to expect! You can also check out our event page on Facebook and invite your friends to join us there.
All the details you need are right here:
When: Tuesday, June 13, 4–10pm

Food vendors on site: Momo Spot and Moo Shu Ice Cream will have delicious treats for sale. Art House will also offer its usual awesome menu throughout the event, including wraps, sandwiches, pastries and snacks.
Drinks: Beer, wine, cocktails, seltzer, coffee and tea available from Art House, who have also created a special 613 Day cocktail and mocktail for the event!

Merch: Apt613 will have brand-new limited edition hats for sale at the event, created for us by Byward Outfitters—so you can show off your fan love all over town!
Accessibility info: Art House is not wheelchair accessible beyond the patio. Food will be available for purchase at street level, but drinks/pastries will be available in the main house. Please ask the Art House staff if you need assistance obtaining a drink. Accessible public washrooms are available at Tim Hortons until 8pm (2 min away) and Massine’s Independent Grocer until 10pm (7-10 min away). There are gender-neutral washrooms on the main floor of Art House. Feel free to wear a mask when you go indoors as your comfort level permits, or just hang outside if that works better for you.
From the bottom of our hearts, we are so thankful for all our contributors, readers, and boosters—we hope you’ll join us to celebrate how awesome our community is! If you can’t make it, but you’d like to support Apt613 and all that we do, check out our donation page.
